Went today, sitting in South Stand. Hartpury were excellent, Bristol were poor. Randall was excellent, but maybe did too much on his own. Scrum was awesome, lineout got better as the game went on. Difference was the international class and Dan Thomas. Seems incredible we let him go tbh.

Best bit of today, winding up the Bristol supporters and their seeing their slow realisation that this season maybe harder than they thought and when they get promoted they are going to struggle.

Excellent display by Hartpury and clearly deserve their place in the championship. Great to see the scrum and maul so dominant in the first half. Bristol probably received a rollicking from Lam at half time.
I think Hartpury will consolidate their place in this division. Gloucester/shire rugby is looking very tasty indeed!
