Some familiar, and big names (albeit a year or two past prime in one or two cases) for Bristol..

Could this be the top of the rollercoaster for Hartpury?

Big test, best of luck to them.
Hopefully, this text should be smaller and less prominent than the words above it...

Joe Latta is captain - interesting. Always enjoy watching Dan Thomas - he will be a handful for Hartpury.

And Will Hurrell was excellent last season. Tough match.

Dan Thomas used to be a handful FOR Hartpury so they will know his game inside out.........stopping it however!!

Good luck 'pury.

Dan Thomas getting the opportunity he deserves ?.

I know he wanted to stay @ Glaws- 100 %; but opportunity would have been slim again this term given the signing of young Akkers who can of course play across the whole back row and the possibility of another top notch back row signing at some stage, his opportunities for first team selection would have been difficult.

The boys have to go and play their natural game- the game that has got them this far; and place a mark on their start at this level whatever the result.

Above everything I am sure they will enjoy the match and come away with their heads up. The ground will suit their style and when the ball is out of the tight ( Briss will try and keep possession and roll things ) they have to express themselves like they did at times last week against Glaws.

One player I am very impressed with is Daryll Dyer @ No. 8. . Very quick and a versatile back rower. I am surprised he hasn't played at a higher level. Was an academy player at Bedford and picked up by Saints; but didn't get a look in-so it would appear. He impressed me last week and could prove a very useful signing for Hartpury.
