Chiefs need to calm down. They can come back and the 4th quarter will be very interesting. GOAT is being so well protected as well.

That was a pretty disappointing game. Mahomes had no protection and Chiefs discipline was terrible. They just didn't show up, other than C-EH who put in a great performance.

Brady was unbelievable in that game. Such composure and great execution. To think that there's only been 55 Super Bowls and he's featured in 10 of them is incredible! You could make a strong case for him being the greatest sportsman of all time.

Not really, as it's a niche Sport, similar to F1. Not many participants / teams at the highest level. As for saying they were World Champions? Maybe North American Champs, but that's about it. However to still be playing at 43 should be applauded.

Brady is the GOAT. End of.

Wow what a performance by Tampa Bay - their defence was incredible. Whilst Brady did what most expected him to do - the key to the game was the pressure that TB got on Mahones. I didn't see that coming - and that's without blitzing which meant they were still able to double team some receivers / TEs.

I agree about the World Champs claim die trying - but not the niche sport claim. There are probably very few sports bigger than the NFL - football (soccer) for sure. Not sure much else.

This site disagrees, rugby at #6, American Football at #12

FTA: they based their rankings on the following factors.

Global base & audience
TV Viewership numbers
Number Professional leagues around the world
TV rights deals
Endorsement & Sponsorship deals
Average athlete salary in top league
Biggest competition & (number of countries represented)
Social media presence
Prominence in sports headlines on media outlets (websites, tv)
Relevancy through the year
Regional dominance
Gender equality
Accessible to general public worldwide

NFL markets itself brilliantly which can make it seem more popular than it actually is.
