"Lockdown" things to do

"Lockdown" things to do

I am not being pessimistic in starting this thread. If or when it comes.....

Thought it might be an idea for posters to share ideas on things to do ; maybe run a rugby quiz or whatever on here to keep some of us entertained in between other things.

So ; I am kicking it off with a game..

Spot the street and location .

Gloucester 1950's and 60's

So lets see who can name all locations and streets. Some posters might require help from parents on this one or even grandparents ! :)

No tube stations at home city but your location aptly describes what is still being seen on the London underground CGR.

Why don't they just close it to the public. I am sure most would then stay at home Surely they can reduce the carriage numbers and staff can restrict the numbers allowed in the carriages and educate the idiots to sit two meters apart - or is that too much like being too obvious ?.

CGR...why don't you name one of the streets and you could be this weeks winner ? !

Have you ever had a favourite of the 4 streets?

I always used to like Westgate best, followed by Southgate, then Northgate and Eastgate least..

Dunno why..
Hopefully, this text should be smaller and less prominent than the words above it...

In days gone by, it was a heavy pub crawl starting at the bottom of Westgate Street up through town.

It was probably because the further you got down Eastgate Street, the more dangerous it got!

Westgate had the best pubs, best curry (pre hill top days), free parking nearby, easy access to KCs, and it was downhill on the way home..
