The Rugby Paper said last weekend that Hanson was going to Bristol.
I subscribe to the view that the two most specialist positions are hooker and scrum half, and you need an extra one of these in a squad because of that. So are we light at 9?
I would also like to see an experienced, international class tighthead.

Westglos - We do have Varney in the ranks at 9 albeit his is still Academy. Two good prospects in him and Chapman

RTS2 - Are we getting a HC or a DoR ??   You mention DoR.

The initial intimation was a HC and that Alex Brown would be doing DoR paperwork duties (and being Commercial Officer and Board Director).
Nothing wrong with free speech or having an opinion - as long as it matches mine !!

Maybe Todd Gleave can also play 9? He's pretty much the right size

Sale have announced that they've reached agreement with all of their squad about permanent salary reductions. For many clubs their self-imposed deadline is tomorrow, 18 June. I have no idea whether Glaws are persuading/strong-arming/ amicably agreeing such cuts by that deadline, but if they are, then perhaps we might soon be treated to an update on who is staying and who is going/has gone.

Alternatively, maybe send someone to the training ground with a long lens so we can see who is actually there! It's an odd situation.

Listening to Danny Care and Ugo Moyne talking to Mark Lambert (RPA Chairman), things do not sound good - there seems to be a very large gap between some clubs and their players. No idea how Gloucester are dealing with their players.

Dont Forget Tom Hudson, at FullBack, as when he played at that position either this season or last I forget it seems so long ago. He did a brilliant job, and got a few tries.

Unfortunately he had a nightmare game against Munster at home. He has rarely featured since.

Looks as if Callum Braley has had his last day at Glaws. Still no confirmation of next seasons squad unlike many other clubs. The longer it stays that way the more those departure rumours gain traction.
