Fans at grounds

With Boris saying he doesn't expect football fans in a stadium until mid October that, I expect, means what we all thought would happen and no fans at Castle Grim for the rest of this season.

It's a shame but to be expected I guess

And once fans are allowed back in it won't be as it used to be.

There will be social distancing measures in place.

How does everyone see our 6000 season ticket holders fitting into the ground?

Personally I can see that there will be some season ticket holders (1873 and Boxholders) who will get preferential treatment, it's not beyond the realms of responsibility that cheapest standing season ticket holders become bottom of the pile and outside the new capacity limits.

I think you would need to implement a grid system for the Shed.

Paint on lines or circles where supporters can stand so that they maintain distance.

Have lanes in front of the stand so you can only go one way in it.

Masks required. Hand sanitiser stations at both ends of the ground.

BYOB.

Toilet facilities are going to be an issue.

This is terrible news for our remaining home games... I mean who is going to tell the ref he's got it wrong now?

Man City have implemented large screens at either end of the ground where supporters are essentially on a zoom call watching the game. We could do something similar with a direct link to the ref and problem solved!

The issue with grids in the Shed/Tump is that this doesn't allow for families etc. I've been running and going to the pub with lads i stand in the Shed with - how can these 'bubbles' been enforced?

Worst case scenario is hopefully all of the empty seats in the Main Stand / Kingsholm Road can be used to ensure all STs can be admitted. You'd like to think 6-7 thousand people could comfortably fit inside a 16k capacity stadium. I'm prepared to be the bigger man and sit in one of the Exec Boxes to make more space in the Shed ;-)

Club finances will take a further hit as many STHs will ask for a refund rather than the, yet to be defined, donation to the new training ground project

Are we still selling ST’s for next season, or is it on hold?

The price of next years season ticket will depend on a lot of things eg Europe and Domestic Cups.

If there are less games then it stands to reason the season ticket price will have to less to doesn't it?

I am hesitant to agree about supporters in the ground.
I thought that having signed Matt and Matias we are no longer in lockdown situation
Further with social distancing will Marlon Yarde still be necessary.
Looks like RFU and CVC are coming to agreement about tests too.
