Japan & Fiji join 6 Nations

This year's Autumn Tests are set to be replaced by an eight-team tournament in which the Six Nations sides will be joined by Japan and Fiji.

Together with the rearranged games from the past 6 Nations which will be played 25 Oct (Ireland v Italy) then on 31 Oct (Eng v Italy, Wales v Scot and Ire v France) the new competition will commence on 14 Nov and run to 5 Dec.
Matches will be played in 2 groups (Group A Eng, Wales Ire and Fiji) and (Group B, Scot , France, Italy and Japan) and comprise 4 games in total ( 3 x Group plus 1 game against the team finishing in the adjacent position in the other Group).

The 2021 6 Nations is still scheduled to commence on 6 Feb 2021.

It is simply a cash cow. Meaningless, but brings in a few ££££

To be fair they would have played as much and as many days training with their clubs as with Eng. It is as said all about the cash but then again Club rugby can't survive without the handouts from the money these games make
