The Clermont vs Racing match is entertaining, though Poite is coughing away like a 50 year smoker... not a great sign

Leinster were 1-4 with bookmakers at kick-off Sheddy.

Trinh-Duc still has some class, he seems to have been around for ages! Fair play to him, that was a lovely chip and gather

Look at the difference in funding between a Sarries side that is now clearly complying with the cap, and the IRFU-backed moneybags that are Leinster. It's a long time since a result has given me as much pleasure.

Given the current health situation, its odd that the players aren't questioning this. Hea been retching over them all game.

That's as maybe but I still don't think a game involving 2 of the most successful teams of the last decade involves any underdogs or a win either way constitutes an upset.

Joshua vs Ruiz was an upset. Leicester City winning the league was a victory for the underdog. This was just one very good rugby team beating another very good rugby team.

Interesting point Colin. The way COVID has hit sport and rugby in particular is very worrying as MSQ pointed out prior to our worst performance of a decade, income is down.
It’s probably a good time to have a SugarDaddy with big pockets to get through to a point where normality returns, the IRFU must be in the same mess as the RFU which is also struggling and there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel.
The AI will go some way to fill the coffers but without full houses, takings will be down.
Where will it all end? Maybe some clubs will fall victim, let’s hope not.

Poite coughing throughout the game and the fans all sitting next to each other. Not a good look is it?

Saracens mere presence in the competition was achieved via cheating. So if they go onto win it (and I consider that likely) it's a huge embarrassment for the game. Simply put, we should all want someone else to lift the trophy.

Leinster are unbeaten in their league, they have a massive budget which allows them to rest key players for long periods and bring them back when required.

Although its their own fault, Saracens have lost a fair chunk of their front line playing squad and have lost 7 games in a league that saps even the best of squads. Also, history dictates a huge advantage for a home knock out game

Leinster were massive favourites, this was a huge win.
