I can’t stand negativity and always look on the bright side. But there isn’t much positivity to take from today.

It’s not like young players were blooded, we got zero league points, confidence has taken a knock. Scrum didn’t look great. Back three looked very vulnerable. Centres unimaginative/slow - I think they are both valuable players but not together, distinct lack of pace. Halfbacks rusty.

I’m pleased that Hansen is back, silly kick aside he was good. Reid looked dangerous.

Congrats to Gibson on his debut, good signing - excellent lineout forward.

Gloucester still has a rugby club. We may have to accept that without fans and a wealthy owner committing large amounts of money and stocking their team with high quality players, that just keeping our heads above water at this difficult time is a positive result.
