Shame to see him go, and his performances in 18-19 were outstanding. Wish him luck for the future, inside and outside of rugby.

Does leave us very light for the rest of the season particularly if BTT is laid up for a while, short term cover likely?

When it worked it was some of the best rugby Kingsholm has seen in years.
Thanks Danny and good luck.

Shame to see him leave early, at his best he one of the best players I’ve seen play for Gloucester.
A few on here will no doubt be smug about this.

I saw a few people recently suggesting that something didn't seem right and maybe he was leaving. Most of the replies to that suggestion that I saw were pretty dismissive and condescending. Bet they feel silly now!

Echo the sentiments above.
On his day was one of the best we've seen in cherry and white. The 18/19 season when it clicked was one of my favourites as a fan... we were lucky to witness them and see him wear the jersey.
Best of luck DC

What a shame but best to get it out in the open and end the speculation. He leaves with our best wishes and warm memories of that splendid 18-19 season still fresh.
