There seems to be more of an element of 'blame' in the French system, 3 positive tests in the week and you forfeit the following game.

Just a thought, should French clubs pull out, whether due to their own concerns or directions of their Government, and EPCR be forced to abandon or defer European competition until next season, this would free up weekends which might provide opportunities to play those cancelled Covid hit Prem games. That would negate the current points lottery.

With general numbers skyrocketing I can't see the French govt. letting this through, Bayonne were mighty peeved to come back with a number of cases of the new variant after the last round, hence their decision to pull out of the last 2 rounds.

Last 2 rounds of HC postponed as France bans cross border travel for elite sport. 6N's now iffy.
