Putting white lines on a pitch causes no end of problems for TMO.
The days of muddy toucines, brown leather ball and scrum trampling made it so much easier for Officials.
I saw forensic analysis with two lines across a football pitch to identify fact that the star player hadn't trimmed fingernail so offside.
Pitch at Newcastle looks ok for white Gilbert ball.

To be fair if they can shift the snow then on Sat it is probably going to be warmer up there than in Glos for the match.
