Think that is going to hit us quite hard.

This, Exeter and and Bristol games on TV on a friday night, tickets creeping up to £40 not in the main stand, without even mentioning all the non-rugby issues going on.

10k to 11k looks a good shout and if so that should be considered a good turnout. Hope those that go stay safe.

I also think that the petrol supply issue would have deterred a number travelling fans both Leicester and Glos. That, COVID, Friday night, on TV, bit of a perfect storm really.

I think the tv issue on a Friday is a factor. We always get lumped with the Friday night game I cannot remember the last time we played at home in the league on a Sunday. Loads of people have to travel to get to the ground and simply won’t make it in time

TV is good extra revenue for the club...and historically hasn't hit Gloucester too hard, but with the negatives around at the moment (league position, ticket pricing, season ticket mess, plastic, covid, maybe fuel etc...) I think TV will hit the gate revenue and attendance a fair bit unless the results start coming in.
I'd love to agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong....

Does anyone know what the attendance was. There appeared to lots of empty seats in the main stand.
They don’t like it up ‘em.

11640 was our gate.

The 3 teams that showed an increase were Quins, Prem title holders. Sale, who said their gate was exactly 7500(?). Saints who's figures are against us versus opening game V Worc 19/20.

The average reduction of opening home fixtures was -1529 .

I would guess that was mainly down to COVID.
