Feeling very smug with my early decision to book flights and accommodation Friday to Monday. Get the rugby done and dusted early and then enjoy the delights of the gastronomic Capital of France.

Going Thu - Sat. Not the cheapest flights but happy to pay a little more to fly from Heathrow and not have to drive to Luton again.

Make restsurant bookings now. There will be 2 million visitors in Lyon that weekend because of the Festival of Light and it's virtually impossible to get a booking on the day.
