The lineout will be crucial, Du Preez is an absolute giant and will cause us all sorts of problems if we don’t get it right.

Now that is a very nice team. Delighted to see some consistency in selection. Great to see Elrington, Kirill, Clarke and Davidson all starting again - deserved. Hastings continues at 10. Harris and LRZ in the XV and a really strong bench. Great replacement front row and Alemanno to boot. Bring it on, can’t wait!!

You're not allowed to know, Kingsholm Secrets Act.

Don't know who thinks that's a depleted Sale team a trio of Du Preez's, a brace of James', a Solomona and probably the brightest up and coming scrum half in the country is by no means a weak team. Hope we can make use of our pitch and get our pace working out wide. We won't get the maul dominance we had the luxury of last week, Sanderson will make sure of that. Again our defence and discipline will be what calls the game one way or the other. Gloucester bonus point win and LBP for Sharks in an ill tempered game is my prediction.
I'd love to agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong....

I didn’t say it was weak but it’s definitely depleted. No Currys, DeKlerk, McGinty, Tuilagi, Van Resburg or Hill.

They’ve got no:
McGuigan
Yarde
Tuilagi
Van Rensburg
Hill
R Du Preez
AVDM
Maginty
De Klerk
Curry x 2
De Jäger

Still a very strong side and any win welcome. Someone needs to remind our boys Sale have turned us over at Holm three seasons running. We owe them one…

Yellow card for Jono Ross easy money?

Can see this being an aggressive old affair

More than decent team that for us. We know what Sale will bring with their aggressive defence, if Hastings can beat it then our back three could have a field day. If he gets clobbered, it could be a tough afternoon. Sale tend not to perform well in the second half, pundits have commented about whether their aggression eventually means they run out of steam and they are always playing close to the line on the discipline front. Keep our discipline and we will definitely have opportunities for points

Back that up Dave..+1

Think we need to carry off where we left off in the last 20 mins last week at Wuss.

The front 5 battle will be crucial and looking forward to getting another look at our Russian 3 import. Looks decent in the carry. Let's see how he goes this week in the scrum. Getting the start against Sale should be enough motivation for him. He will need to have good one . Sale not at full strength ; but still a threat and let's not underestimate their backs in open play. Very dangerous !.

Fancy the W; but we MUST get the error rate down; make the tackles count and get the line out sorted !!!!.

Pleased to see Freddie Clarke involved. He is probably the most underestimated forward in the Premiership and has been for a few seasons IMO.

The line-out was 100 per cent successful according the the stats from the Worcs game; sorted!
