This week's grumpy blog

Sorry, guys, I'm a bit grumpy this week ... and it's not all about Gloucester losing at home to Exeter. Loads of other stuff as well, including, among other things, a frustration that no matter hard we try (DtC and I, that is), we can't get anyone to transfer the gloucesterrugby.net domain name (which, apart from the forum, is functioning normally) and so we are continuing to run this site on the temporary rugb.co.uk domain name.

Very frustrating for everybody.

Anyway, check out the blog and give me as much flack as you like.

I really like the addition of the pictures - they help to give a flavour of the atmosphere, but I'm not sure that photos of children should be used. Usually you are expected get the consent of the parent before publication. It's not just because in extreme cases nasty types can do unpleasant things with Photoshop, but because they can be used to identify children who are the subject of court protection.

Yep. Good point. That particular photo has now been removed. Thanks, Nick.

To be fair, there are a few adult faces I recognise in the shed who might benefit from coming under the auspices of the Court of Protection.

Q. What's an auspice?

A. About a gallon usually!
