Giteau's Law is going/gone, Gatland's Law will surely follow...just a matter of time

Hope so because, best guess, it would have been a 3 year contract..

Colin, it's not Gatland's law. The WRU policy has changed. It'll change in time, but when the likes of Rowlands, Tomos Francis, WillGriff John, Liam Williams, Ross Moriarty have all gone back to Wales to play some might suggest their policy has some merit.

If LRZ, Thomas Young, Sheedy, Lloyd soon follow suit they might even be vindicated.

Of course as soon as a player meets the 60 cap threshold they'll have far more options.

They go back to play, primarily, for Wales, or at least compete for a place in the Welsh squad. The only issue is that their time in Wales might be limited, as some move in time for the RWC cycle and once that's passed if they don't think they'll make the next one they can head to Eng, Fra or Japan, as per Cory Hill.

Rugby in wales is a very low standard. Dan Biggar is loving Northampton. It’s all about getting the players freed for training and out of the window matches

Yes Wyn, exactly. The 60 cap rule is encouraging players back to Wales to play for Wales, period. Why would Tomos Francis leave Exe for the Ospreys otherwise ?

[quote="Lewi7"]LRZ can't play in the AB match, it's outside the international window, so it's a max of 3 AI's for him.

This is hugely disappointing for LRZ, irrespective of my support for Glaws. I haven’t seen RZ senior for many, many months now so have lost touch with what is happening.

Is it not the case that we are not obliged to release him outside the window?

If availability from our other wingers allows we could agree to let him play.

Pretty sure there were other reasons Hill legged it to Japan.
