So Italians travel to London instead of Dublin...don't think that makes sense.

....and I fly to Italy to self-isolate in a bar in Rome to watch a game being played at Twickenham.....tens of thousands of English fans travel to the Italy game and even if the game is cancelled or moved there will need to be a big change in the situation before the travel insurance kicks in...so many like me will travel irrespectively.
I'd love to agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong....

If JA went to Wasps I don't think it would be of his own volition. He makes great play of his faith and his integrity, and has a decent contract in place, so I do not believe he'd walk, no matter how persuasive SV might be. Now if DH was to lose faith in him, and would prefer a new face...different matter entirely.

This is 100% speculation, and I believe he is staying - doesn't seem to be the sort of guy who leaves a job half done.

I would rather lose DH than JA to be honest. JA is quality and we need to keep him

I would rather we keep both. DH has done a great job since he arrived and don’t forget that he was the one who brought JA in

Hasn't JA recently extended his contract I now you can buy people out of a contract but doesn't make sense to sign a contract then start looking elsewhere

Agree. Wasps are a bit of a mess on and off the field. JA has high moral standards, and I can't see him going there.

I'm 100% convinced that JA is the man for the job, the way he carries himself sets a fantastic example for our club. I feel he may have underestimated the premiership and how difficult and different it is compared to super 15. I know he's been here for 3 seasons now and some feel should have picked it up sooner, but we do seem to have had one of the wettest seasons i can ever remember, the late start due to world cup has meant that we lost 2 months (potentially 6 games?) of dryish weather where our style flourishes which in part explains our poor start but only reinforces the need for our coaching team to adapt to the conditions. I'd like to see a shuffle in the coaching staff - we'll be getting a new defence coach, but i'd like a dedicated forwards coach and maybe replace Woodman as specialist scrum coach, our scrum has never been anything to write home about under his tenure on reflection...

I agree with all of that. Not a time to be starting from scratch again IMO despite the fact we’re struggling atm.

Jnr recently signed a new contract too. Can’t see JA moving without Ruan.

Does anyone know how much coaching JA does? Or does he just set the plan and oversee? A new scrum coach is definitely required and maybe a line-out coach/advisor! Perhaps we should strike a deal with Liverpool FC and take their specialist 'Throw-In' coach!

Mitch

I'm not sure exactly, but would hazard a guess that with Bell in charge of defence, Woodman scrum, and Taylor/Teague as backs coach JA would take a lead in line-out and forwards in general. Interestingly the website has Woodman as forwards coach? Personally for me i'd like to see Woodman replaced if that is his remit with the role split between scrum coach and general forwards coach, not sure who i'd put forward though? JA to tap up some of his old mates, Oz Du Randt as scrum coach, see if Victor Matfield fancies a trip to the Cotswolds to sort out the line out?
