So Midi Olympique are now saying deal is done.....but wasn't it the same august publication that said that some premiership sides had concerns and deal would need to be ratified at meeting at end of month (which I assume hasn't taken place yet).....
I assume these reports are via their astrology correspondent's tea leaves?

Sadly this is just what happens when a deal like this drags on and on. This could and should have been sorted one way or another weeks ago. Gloucester Rugby and Mohed Altrad appear to be jumping through various hoops for different bodies and the French press having no real story keep conjuring up a different angle. If PRL do have to ratify deal in a meeting then news is unlikely to appear before next week and possibly not until after the Cardiff game. If any different happens then great as we would at least know the outcome sooner.

Latest from Mortimer:

According to @midi_olympique the EPCR "has given the green light" to Mohed Altrad acquiring a 45% stake in Gloucester. Paper alleges
1/

this was against the wishes of the LNR, who had asked Altrad's stake to be limited to 20%. As a result of EPCR's approval, says Midi
2/

Gloucester will "rapidly announce" the appointment of PSA as director, Gonzalo Quesada as coach and Olivier Azam as forward coach.
3/3

In response to someone's question of when...

'I reckon by the end of the month'

Interesting if true...

FFS can someone at CG please sort this out - with this uncertainty hanging over the Club I'm not expecting great things on Friday at Ashton Gate.

If the intention is just to turn Gloucester into a French Foreign Legion for failed coaches...then a few of us will be re-evaluating the patronage of rugby at Kingsholm ... :(

So Ackerman could be out of a job before he even starts... ;)

MO is an immensely unreliable source of information, so I'd take their assertion the deal is done and who the management will be with a massive pinch of salt.

I think they use the same fact gathering intelligence as Donald Trump.

If the French press are correct, then why has David Humphreys flown to South Africa and Johan Ackermann is talking about whether to accept an offer?
