Makes a lot of sense to have big city franchises if the future European Super League is to be a success.

Well, if you can understand French, read Lorenzetti’s letter to his club’s supporters. Basically, he seems to say that everything in the garden is rosy, but we lose games. If we merge we won’t lose, we will be “inarrêtables” - unstoppable. Why don’t we merge with Bath and win everything, makes sense, doesn’t it?

Being reported on twitter that the SF squad voted to strike: No training & unlikely to play against Castre at the weekend.

We'll play in the bigger stadium, take the cherry hoops from our shirts and the white hoops from Bath. On the same note, we take the Gloucester from our name and the Rugby from Bath. What's not to like?

There's going to be problems with the French league this weekend. SF players are probably going to strike (rightly so) and this will lead to a points deduction and the result going to Castres. This could then have further knock on effects for relegation , playoffs, and CC qualifying.
What a sorry mess.
