A new chant ?

I often feel relieved that I fell in as a Gloucester supporter.
I don’t feel obliged to wear a facsimile of the headdress of a suppressed native nation or a Fez. I don’t follow a team that runs out to the sound of annoying insects of the dulcet tones of Paddy Mcginty’s Goat.
I’m perfectly happy with GLAAAAWSTER!!! Because that is what we are.

We've been using this one for a while:

Who's that standing out on the wing, is it AFOA? Is it AFOA?!

As someone who enjoys the round ball game as well as rugby I often think that the chants and atmosphere at a football game is one area where rugby could learn from. Nothing wrong with player name chants...Junior and Terry Fanolua had them, as did Ludo. It needs to be spontaneous though, nothing worse than the hymn sheet style nonsense you get at US soccer games

Agreed SoP, so borrowed greatly from the Northern Irish at the footy comp last year, I always liked the idea of Matt Scott's on fire to the tune of Freed from Desire, especially if his try scoring form continues.....

Matt Scott's on fire, your defence is terrified,
Matt Scott's on fire, your defence is terrified,
Matt Scott's on fire, your defence is terrified.
La la lala la la, la la lala la la ad infinitum

And cue the Shed going bonkers :D :D :D

For me, nothing beats when the whole shed (or whole ground) is chanting GLAWSTER when defending on our line and the roar that follows when we win the penalty or scrum.
