I ended up watching the game from around the 25 minute mark after Leicesters fruitful start.

Overall, I thought we did very well in stopping them for scoring the bonus point try for the remaining 60 minutes at their own ground, I don't think that sort of fight and doggedness is to be sniffed at.

Whilst it's unbelievably frustrating watching a game like yesterday, we did put ourselves in positions several times to get points on the board, which is encouraging. The accuracy will come over the season as ackermann gets a firmer grip on the squad.

The scrum, what a turn around! Pushing the tigers around on their own paddock, more of that please!

Ruskin looked great when he came on, think he should be a starter, love how quick he gets down over the ball. Slater had a great performance. He and Thrush are quality players, but the dog and physicality of Savage is hard to over look. Good selection problems. Sharples was tidy and Woodward pretty decent throughout.

Couple of bug bears though, Thorley... you don't need to go for contact every time. Ruan, same goes to you. Spaces not faces and all that. Thought going for contact a few times when we didn't need to broke down some of our attacks.

Overall, great try from Hohneck, basic rugby, good line, run hard from 10m out as an 18st prop and low and behold it's a try. Saw some positives amid the poor execution. Confident that Friday night will be a different story - bonus point win.... here's hoping!

You could be a Falcons ST holder who probably splashed out over a grand to watch that utter cr@p last night. Imagine how they are feeling today as there was nothing positive about their performance whatsoever.

Perspective, too many players passing to thin air, not protecting the ball and basically appearing to be going through the motions.
We took Thrush off, who had been dominating the line-outs....can't players do 80 mins anymore?

Around about 9.45 pm on Friday evening, we will be 3rd in the table. As we know, the table doesn't lie. ;)
