Ross can stay perhaps?

Be in no doubt that Gatland has a huge influence over leading WRU personnel. Once Gatland starts pursuing something he sticks to it regardless of the outcome. Just witness his boring style of rugby
which he imposes on players.

Comments in here about fragile finances - this might restrict number of players Wales can afford to bring into central contracts?

For the Beeb that's quite an coup of an interview with one of the few that actually seem to understand the real world outside of the WRU committee rooms.

How about

Davies also confirmed the WRU will make a statement on Monday regarding its international selection policy, which could allow more senior players based outside Wales to play for the country.

Anyone think Howley will be given a chance as one of the three?

As an Englishman living in Ireland I hope they make it a permanent, unbreakable contract

Congratulations Mr Howley you have the job, and we've been lucky enough to gain the services of a Mr O'Brian to your coaching team. :D :D :D

Not looking good...

And out-of-contract Gloucester back rower Ross Moriarty, who has just 17 caps, will also be unable to play for Wales next season if he signs a new deal keeping him outside of the country.

Curtains for Rhys Webb as well then? Or will this new law miraculously start after he'd already signed for Toulon. I wonder...

Now confirmed. 60 caps...goodbye Ross, and no Rhys Webb. Unless they keep some wildcards.
