Alistair Eykyn has tweeted this re situation.

"Said to have been ‘winded’ in collision w North v Saints. I’m no medic but the explanation was woolly at the time & I remain sceptical now."

No one has to be a medic to see what happened to him in that game. It's disgusting, it's happening too often and despite all the rhetoric, sweet fa is being done.
In 10-15 years time, clubs had better make sure they're well insured because they're going to get sued to shizzle and back. They deserve it.

Winded? Disgraceful.

Agree completely. Obvious to anybody what happened - equally obvious that he was put back on the field because Leicester had run out of back row options. Just like George North last season - absolute joke.

12 weeks is a huge amount of time it must have been nasty and if I'm reading comments right and he was put back on the field after HIA I think someone should be in huge trouble.

Really quite angry about this, particularly after the debate about tackling in Schools.

Hope he recovers well

Not one HIA, though

The beginning of that bbc article says:

"Leicester Tigers flanker Dominic Ryan has been stood down for 12 weeks following repeated concussions."
