Are we surprised?

Their performances have been poor this year. Will be interesting to see who they replace him with.

Wonder what happens to Mallinder Jnr?

That could cost a bit, he's got a year and a half left on his contract.

Winning 4 in a row to start the season to being sacked before Christmas. That's one hell of a drop off.

Have to feel for them. Lets face it we have been there a few times. Thi showever is a club who were riding very high for many seasons. I don't think JM has suddenly become a bad coach.
Since getting promotion he has got them to
8 2 4 4 4 2 1 5 7
in the Prem. ok last year was a bit down in a very congested midlle part of the table. This smacks of the fottball mentality for me and I would have thought he could have been given the second part of the year to turn it around.

They got absolutely tuned by Sarries in the first game before the mini revival. 10th in the league and out of the Champions Cup. I guess losing at home to the Os was the final straw.

He's had a good run there, but Saints are probably due a change.

Interesting to know what is really going on. If they don't have someone else ready to take over who is a top Prem coach I fail to see how they are better off without JM. If they have someone lined up then fair enough but htey must have started that some time ago to have them ready to start??

As he didn't get interim head coach ahead of Alan Dickens, maybe he is next........
