Just saw a Beeb article about Lawes, where it states he played 37 games during 2017. If there was ever an example of why Eng Int players don't win enough then that is it. I think I saw someewhere that the main NZ Int players do about 20 - 22 games per year. Small wonder they are regularly no 1. Given time off of Hols and training Lawes must have played just about every W/E last year. Madness if you want to win a WC.
