Not quite - Ludo was indeed French, and Jake a South African, but neither was capped, and are therefore both qualified for this thread

I completely agree about Nick Wood, he spent 2/3 seasons out scrumaging everyone who was in front of him - with a smile on his face. Very unlucky.

Bucko up there too, a consistent performer week in week out.

I remember Adam Eustace was right on the verge of England in the early 00's until a really nasty leg break. Used to thoroughly enjoy the partnership of him and Pasty in the dungeon.

In my time, John Gadd and Richard Mogg, without a doubt. Before my time, one name stands out: Mickey Booth. Week in, week out, the best scrum-half in England as many observed at the time. Could pass, break, kick and dictate a game. A real general.

Mickey Booth.

Nick was always going to be behind John Pullin in the selection stakes.

Ludo unfortunately doesn't qualify , as he never gained residency rights. ( 2 x 2 year stints )

Paul Ashmead and John Bayliss are two who come to mind for me.
