My wildcard is Tom Savage- he is ever present, does all the unseen grunt work and rarely gets the plaudits he deserves.

Good call, Crasher. Glanville was not only a terrific player but also a very good captain who led from the front.

Neil Matthews - one hell of a fly-half who would have earned many caps but for injury

Bit of an outsider, Paul Holford, for a year or two, one of the best wingers around, a few are obvious, Moggy, Gadd, Smith senior, but Glanners, Crazy legs and Simon Morris were real contenders, but didn't get the plaudits.

Didn’t Holford get called into the England set up.....it’s a long time ago but l seem to remember something along those lines.
I’ve only ever been wrong once; l thought l was wrong, but l was wrong!

Some good old Gloucester names are coming out of the woodwork, and as the net seems to have been cast wider, ladies and gentleman I offer you;
