He is consistently poor and definitely doesn’t have any place on the elite panel. Pretty much every game he makes a huge error

And it was really good and competitive until he carded the French lock, which ruined the game and the ABs went into another gear

Remi Grosso has a double fracture in his skull from the All Blacks tackle, sorry assault.

Still only a penalty Luke Pearce???

Certainly not an assault. The two tackler approach is something we all see regularly and that incident was clearly accidental. Tackle was high though and therefore yellow. French player shouldn't have been carded but what do some TMO's actually do. The TMO should have corrected Pearce on both occasions. If people want to see an assault try watching the late hits from Itoje on de Klerk in the England match. To be fair though TMO did nothing in that game either.

I think we are always quick to blame the refs but at least they are acting on the spur of the moment. Now there are TMO's sat watching the game live and if needed instant replays from all angles, why don't they step in and correct some of these more serious 'oversights' by the ref more often … don't understand it ?
The only problem with doing nothing is not knowing when you have finished.

Well I have my own views but they wouldn’t be welcome on here, especially with those who live in a bubble and believe rugby people - owners, administrators, officials - are somehow different to the rest of society and officials in other sports (football, cricket, boxing, cycling to name a few).
