It only takes 3 days to prepare the pitch and re-seed it but I guess the new grass doesnt grow quite that quickly ...
The only problem with doing nothing is not knowing when you have finished.

The summer maintenance program for hybrid grass pitches is very similar to a 100% grass pitch. Scarify (remove dead material from surface), this can range from just scratching the surface to completely removing the top surface as in Leicester’s case. Re-seeding and top dressing, the amount of top dressing is dependent upon how much you remove in the first place. You will still have to wait for the grass seed to germinate and establish before you can use the surface.
