None of our nominees won, but John Afoa & Ed Slater were in the Team of the Season.

Sinoti Sinoti won it, a good try itself aside from the forward pass to him at the start.

Definitely not in the same league as Twelvetrees finishing off Trinder’s magic

I wonder which one will be repeated in years to come?

Few unhappy Sarries fans in regards to the team of the season. Big fat 0 Saracens players in there. I guess they are used to their players being touted as the best thing since sliced bread, so their dismay is understandable. One even called BT Sport anti-Saracens, which made me chuckle. I don't know what BT Sport channels he has been watching?!

To be fair to them they finished second in the league you would probably expect a few players in the team of the season

It's almost a bigger surprise that no Harlequins players made the team! :D

In addition, why Genge ahead of Hepburn of Exeter or Harrison of Sale? Slade is unlucky to miss out to what is an understandable sympathy selection for Horne.

Otherwise, the selection is quite sound.

Ed Slater has had a very good season for us and deserves recognition. However, I regard him more of a number 4 front lineout jumper than a number 5 middle lineout jumper.

Agreed. Four not five.

Quite a good spread of teams included which shows they are looking at the individual irrespective of how successful their particular team although it is surprising no Sarries given their league position.

3 players - Exeter
2 players - Gloucester, Wasps, Newcastle, Leicester and Northampton
1 player -Worcester and Sale
0 players - Bath, Saracens, London Irish and Harlequins
