Not my favourite decision maker, but you have to give him credit for his transition from player to international whistle blower...thanks for memories albeit not always good...the Edinburgh final was my favourite reflink...he gave Willie Heinz a final warning for not using the ball on the first scrum...and hardly worried how long Paris took.... :cry:

So no sign of respect for Mr Lacey on this forum then. A bit of a shame really. I am sure his officiating was always well intentioned. Yes, I am also sure he made many mistakes and many of those clearly involved a Gloucester team at some stage. However, I for one would like to wish him all the best for his retirement. Why do I say that? Because we are like that in Gloucester, aren’t we?
