Last seconds again

For the second game running Wuss won a game with the last kick when Ryan Mills dropped a goal to give Wuss victory at Ospreys 18-20.
A good win against a side containing 9 Welsh Internationals. The Wuss 23 had a good mixture of fringe players.
A quarter final place assured.

And yet again , third game running, to beat a well drilled and muscular Stade Francais. 14- 28 down at H/T ( deservedly so ) but score the sixth try with the last play of the game. :D
Fat Taff if you can get to look at the highlights see the wonder try from Ollie Lawrence.

communication from the so-called "experienced" players would have been useful to everyone in the team : IF we get the ball back , hoof it into the stands after the 80 minute counter goes red.

I feel for the likes of Chandler/Seabrook for whom a win on Saturday would have been a huge fillip, as much as it was to the rest of the squad and management.

Seeing out games, making the correct choices under pressure when on attack or defense = game management.

Talk is cheap during the week when week in, week out, poor decision making has been a weakness for us for many seasons. Our appointed game managers need to be accountable, end of. Whilst our nominated experienced game managers may be the best player in their respected positions, making the correct calls more oft than not will be priceless.

Whilst cannot but commend the players for attitude, heart and endeavour, the top 2 inches will be ultimately, what distinguishes the top teams from the also rans.

Rant over.

upton dc it is belief.
Ryan Mills had missed two touches in the game to collective groans ( from me at least ) 30 seconds from the end he has to take another one and strikes it perfectly to the five meter line. Another player may have taken a more conservative route, he backed himself and then the team backed themselves to win the line-out and create the try. By that time I also have to say that Stade looked out on their feet, Wuss hooker Singleton and tight head Kerrod played 80 minutes - that is the second game running for him! So perhaps also fitness of mind and body also?
