I agree. South Africa are capable of stopping us on the gain line which will stop our power game which has allowed us to exploit the spaces out wide. Could do with a fully fit may as his pace alongside Watson's and dalys could really cause them different issues. I wouldn't put it past Eddie to start with Farrell at 10 again as Slade at 13 gives another playmaker a but wider.

Did anybody seriously expect Wales to try and play expansive rugby? Have you not seen them play the last few years?

A shame for Wales - they really didn't have a go (well they did once and scored). A really turgid game and not worthy of the semis.

But as Not1eyed said, they really haven't played any attacking rugby for some time and many commented after the 6N it would cost them.

Just felt that game was there for the taking had they got the ball wide a little more often.

Just read Gatland's suggestion that England might have peaked too early. Even if believed it, what purpose was there in him saying it? Not for the first time (by a long way) he has demonstrated a lack of class.

Eddie Jones has made his fair share of daft comments also!!!

That said, it's my concern also. Just hope England didn't empty the tank yesterday. The thought that one of today's teams could beat England next week worries me. It would be terrible for the game.

Yeah because not peaking and losing to the all blacks would have been a better option!

Is that not the fear of every English supporter, we had to play better than that team has ever played before to beat the team most expected to win, there could well be a few injuries that mean even if May etc do play they might be less than 100% , can we play that well with such intensity next week time will tell, lets face it Glos fans have seen us peak too early several times and fall at the final hurdle, to have beaten Oz, NZ and SA in three weeks will surpass the 2003 win for me, I said back in early spring I had a feeling SA would win the WC, hope to be proved wrong
