I agree - credit to Sale, but a shame it took a concerted social media campaign to make it happen.

You miss the point.
To dismiss Wales by saying we have not played any attacking rugby in the past 2 years is nonsense.
We just have not played anywhere near enough of it.
I don't think there is any lack of ambition to win a RWC. I should have used another example other than England as you trot out the old maxim of 'but we beat the English'.
I'm happy when we beat any good side, I'm not bothered if its England. You are not the focus for me.
Hopefully Pivac will change the balance, I'd rather watch attacking rugby that what was demonstrated on Sunday.

I hope you win on Saturday and win well.

If you listen to his interview on Radio 5 earlier this evening, the hashtag social media bit, started as a bit of fun. 14 of the Family are already there and as he said, I had a job to do. As it grew he approached the "Coach", as he put it, who said yes. Basically fake news that a concerted social media campaign was the catalyst for his club to say yes.

Agree, looks as though he was going whatever they just used it to get a bit more publicity for their club/Twitter profile

Am I allowed to ask if the ref for the final has been announced yet? ;)

For goodness sake. It is only two days since the semi. Bit of credit where it is due methinks.

So no final farewell for Nigel, but after being parachuted into the semi I am not that surprised. Good to Peyper involved in the final games too after a weekend on the naughty step.
I think Wayne would have got the final if England hadn't got there but Garces will certainly be well known to EJs men.

How in the name of Pollderi’s jock strap has Garces got the final. Out of the refs at the World Cup I think he is one of the worst.

Ben Skeen as TMO as well.

Severus, you are clearly so miffed that you even got the spelling of Polledri wrong

I have no worries about Garces reffing the final - both teams will be treated the same and will be coached to play to the referee's interpretation. I would have preferred Nigel Owens, for sentimental reasons, but life doesn't always work like that.
