England have to respond... they need to play the game the ref wants to see as SA are once again strangling the rugby out of the game. Daly has been weak under the kick and has gifted SA field position, scrum coach needs to earn his crust at half time and the forwards need to smash SA out of the rucks in the second half. Young’s looking less effective today because SA are in the ascendency. As an indication of how little rugby has been played...Tuilagi has only had one carry...!

I agree tuilaigi needs more of the ball. The one time he had it, got us over the gain line and got us quick ball

England's scrum is poor.
Too many passing and handling errors.
We are losing 50/50 balls in the air.
Sinckler injury may be decisive.
Eddie needs to earn his corn.

Lots of individual errors from England and no set piece to build from.
I think Garces has been inconsistent, but has got the scrum pens correct.
Sinckler going off is a massive loss.
England look a little bit lost and seem to be lacking the accuracy and structure they had in the semi.
I still think England will come back into this in the second half.

The lack of shape is worrying. We should have come away with more than a penalty when we were on South Africa’s line. Garces is a cowboy.

Graces has been poor. Inconsistent with the breakdown - penalising Lawes at the start vs letting them slow our ball down, the scrum where 16 stood up. That said - England have made more mistakes.
A bit of composure and we can still do this.
