Thought Johnny did very well. Forwards were out powered. Tuilaigi only had the ball 3 times. Twice made good yards. Unfortunatley like Wales we thought we could win an arm wrestle with them and lost out.

Interesting tweet from Munster rugby, Felix Jones, who cruelly missed out on playing in a World Cup in 2011 when injured in the last warm up game, has now won the tournament as a coach.

That injury was horrible and one he never recovered from so this is a nice tale coming out from today

Herefordpropforward the more I think about the poorer it gets. We have the opportunity in the future to be a great team , but I feel that the sort of petulant behaviour by very well paid ( probably overall the best paid in the tournament) players does them little credit. Sinkler was the first to take his off before even leaving the podium and the rest followed like sheep. BUT credit to Curry for keeping his round his neck. If the medals mean so little to the players let them donate them to charity. How many players get to recieve a medal for appearing in a WC final?

Anyway, we all know the Kiwi match was the real final.
That was just the 1st/2nd place play-off.

Ferret, do you really believe cipriani would have made any difference today? Very difficult for any 10, regardless how good they are to play when pack is going backwards off every set peice

I can see Eddie Jones taking us to the 2023 World Cup now. If we'd have won then i'm sure he would have been off for a fresh challenge - i'd be happy with that.

Well done SA

Agreed Rollo. Take the medal , show respect and then when you arrive home put it in the draw or donate it to charity. By their actions they shall be known!

West is best
