It surely comes as no surprise that Clubs with wealthy owners tend to do better ( except Bath 
).
They don’t like it up ‘em.

The whole “Exeter are the only club in profit” thing is a massive fiddle. Exeter don’t have an owner in the same way as we or most other clubs do. Tony Rowe is their chairman and funds the club through sponsorship from his company Southwest Comms. This means that the money he pours into the club looks like profit in the books as it comes from a commercial arrangement but in reality they are reliant on a fan with a healthy bank balance like everyone else. That’s not to say they aren’t admirable on many levels but their profit is just perspective!

Can't believe nobody (I think) has corrected the 2 posters saying we finished 4th last season.
We finished 3rd.

I was being glib. We were third but in my mind Saracens were cheating so I’ve airbrushed them from last year’s league.
