Hastings is friends with Gloucester and ex-England fly-half Danny Cipriani, who he met when they were with their respective former clubs Salford and Sale Sharks, stablemates at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Hastings signed for Salford in 2018, Cips left Sale in 2016.

Reading the article would suggest that he would be a really cheap - free - signing as well; "I wouldn't go there to get more money like the article stated and I didn't really respect that, to be honest, because I don't play the game for money".
The only problem with doing nothing is not knowing when you have finished.
