Lesley Vanikolo always looked to offload the ball and keep an attack going. I was also at the Leeds game and was fascinated to chat with Bradford Bulls fans who had come to the game in their team colours to support Lesley. That man was brilliant.
Cheered me up after the signing news :(

I don’t think there will be another announcement today as they have sent the news letter out.

I wonder if he is the good news we are all anticipating ?

Eh? The good news is somebody none of us have ever heard of? I really hope not!
;)
Does that mean that if we haven't heard of him he's not any good?

Probably, good players tend to be recognised imho.

Yes, but also trying to take a balanced view on this; some players might good, even if they aren't recognised... ?.

The highlights I posted looked good for a number of reasons. Can discuss this further.

I agree there is NO evidence that he will adjust to Union ;and no history within the 15 -a-side version.

I see basic skill traits ( highly skilled within RL )that we could benefit from, and I do like his attitude - even though there is some" controversy" to his RL career.

He does appear to be highly talented and genuinely modest.I would see him as a natural Centre IF he does convert even though his career has hinged at half-back in R:. It appears that at some point he will (from what has been reported) change codes.

Whether he is the right man for Gloucester will be debated at some length ( no doubt ) IF he is even signed. Guess we have to wait and see.

Not necessarily, of course. However if a CEO goes on record saying there’s some very exciting news it stands to reason the signings have to be well known. How can anybody be seriously excited about somebody they’ve never heard of, no matter how good they may turn out to be?

I’m very much a glass half full man but so far two championship players (albeit I just have a very good feeling about Reid) and a one year loan from Saracens haven’t exactly excited me!

Leb,

I would like to think that a CEO of a rugby club knows his rugby just as much as a CEO of a car/vehicle sales franchise knows a quality piece of mechanical engineering.

Some are told what to say because they don't know what to say , and some don't need to be told what to say because they believe it even though they may have no idea .

I am sure Lance knows what to say, believes it and has many good ideas ;) .

Lets see what exciting news comes tomorrow ? ....a veggie burger stand ?
