I quite like it, nothing wrong with a bit of ‘shogun’ gear.Surely better than wearing a daffodil on your head? Well done Japan and to their exciting brand of rugby.

Great game. Japan are now everyone's second team - their skill, energy and spirit were superb. Just what the RWC needed.

Brilliant display and effort by Japan, exactly what they and the tournement needs. Pragmatic decision to kick out, his side had a LBP which could be lost on a turnover trying to go the length of the field. Besides, his team were knackered.

Anyone else find Japan were technically efficient and brilliant. The execution was text book. A bit like Exeter when they started in the Premiership.
Stunning victory, the Munster half backs were an absolute joke between them, hardly the pair that destroyed us at Kingsholm earlier this year. Looks like the Farrell (snr) effect is really hitting home now the Irish are finding out why the RFU booted him out

Agreed, have always considered Japan as a highly technically proficient side, who have had to rely on performing in a well drilled and speedy manner to alleviate their lack ( especially in the early days) lack of bulk and power.
