Unfortunately we won’t learn much from this game. A bonus point win but scruffily achieved.

Up and down performance by England. Back three and Ford good (once he stopped kicking straight). Farrell should have had an HIA - played poorly after the hit. To have beaten one of the two sides who could have realistically stopped our progress and score six trys means even Jones' biggest critics should be fairly quiet!

Convincing win from an unconvincing performance. You can only play what's in front of you. Hopefully France will give them a game. They certainly will need one before going into the Aussie QF.

Agreed. 6/10 for England for me, which is good as plenty more to come. Good try from Nowell.
Those that were convinced that England wouldn’t get out the group have been quiet!

Gets involved..

England have already done better than the last world cup!

After games 1 and 2, I revised my prediction to 'might' get out of the group. We are now at the sharp end of the group and if we play scrappy ball like games 1, 2 & 3 against the French we will go under. Make no mistake, the frogs will smell fear/blood and put us to the sword. If we get passed the quarters ANY failings will kill us. Hopefully Faz's foot has had its' howler for the tournament and he can kick on (sic).......

You may not like it Sky Blue but the early game 'straight kicking' has been done in the previous 2 games and will continue to be done, I guess, as long as we are in the WC.

Good use of the squad by Eddie so far -------
