I took early retirement this summer - they kindly laid on a World Cup to keep me occupied - it’s been great!! :D

People will have opinions and some will share those via social media. I don’t agree or disagree with lots of posts on here - I do prefer civility and those that respond with respect for others views, no matter how much they disagree with them.

Won’t get out the group etc etc. Now that prophecy hasn’t come true they are finding other reasons to be critical, almost clutching at straws. Constructive criticism ( as yours Leb and Steckers) largely is is fine. Criticism for criticism sake is tiresome. I can almost predict now some of the comments about Young’s performance on Saturday and could predict who they come from

Correct.

Well he was poor, one of his box kicks in particular epitomised this. He kicked straight into touch but more disappointingly nobody was chasing it, so his team mates weren’t expecting it either.
Give the ball away like that to ABs or Boks and they will punish you.
That is an observation, not an opinion.

They don’t like it up ‘em.

Think that's an opinion ? ;)

The only problem with doing nothing is not knowing when you have finished.

Anyway, back to rugby. 2 tries for Hastings and Scotland after 18 minutes. Halfway there for them.

Pure Shedweb. Pick on a single incident and damn a player - about whom you've already made up your mind - for that, totally ignoring any positive aspects of his performance. Sad, mad, and madders ;)

From what I've seen so far, that interval is a bit closer than that :) Maybe "brilliant for 15 minutes and crap for the next 15" ;)

and Chris Ashton talking about Owen Farrell and George Ford and how they lead everything in the England camp - no wonder DC was never going to get a look in as EJ let’s the pair of them run all the England plays.

Sounds very similar to the impact and role DC has at Glos. We see that as a good thing - right?

If England get to the final, and maybe even win, then that will have been a great strategy...if they bomb out badly in the quarters then questions can be asked. What exactly is wrong with a head coach allowing the players to take a leading role...they're the guys who have to deliver on the pitch? More 'DC should be there' prejudice? I too think he should have been selected, but that bird has flown.
