It was illegal and dangerous play.

Surely all ruck entries to shift a player require use of the shoulders. It didn't hit the head so is this a new regulation?
No it's not CMGC. Not watching game so difficult to exactly comment on this specific incident BUT it's my understanding that technically a player must be bound-onto another player when entering a ruck; must be directed towards the ball-carrier rather than another random-player; must have arm raised ie; not a shoulder-charge + be on feet ie; not diving.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Fair enough in terms of the points mentioned but you do see quite a few similar incidents that are not picked up. It is shades of grey I accept and if every entry to a ruck was subject to a slow mo then how many extra cards would we get ? This doesn't justify what happened and it was use of the shoulder but I suspect not the only one in the game.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Do penalty tries no longer warrant a yellow card, or have Wales gotten away with one?
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Fiji nearly always come unstuck against teams with more nous, big game experince and kicking skill. It is why they outperform in 7's where those facets count for less.

Davies went I think.
Why Wales didn't get a pen try when Fiji went down in three scrums on the line in the 1st half is mystifying.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
I'm watching with the sound off. What was the penalty to Wales on the 22 for?

Davies had already gone before the Penalty try was given, for holding on to a player and not rolling away. Looks like they got away with one

Not releasing or off their feet or playing it on the floor I expect
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Tom Shanklin on the Beeb moaning, he believes you need to be warned not to cheat before getting a yellow card. Clearly has no clue
