Spot on.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
A slightly different angle. Suppose the games were relocated or delayed. Suppose the storm is as severe as predicted. Suppose someone were injured either at the game or getting too and from it. Given the sophistication of storm tracking and prediction, do you think WRC could be sued for negligence?

Looking pretty rough one the TV this morning. The Japanese going out for the Captain's Swim this morning...

Well played, sir.
I would argue if conditions continue, there’s cause to abandon the tournament, replay it next year or something and get everyone to spend time helping japan cope with the storm and keeping people safe.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Surely when planning took place the chances of a typhoon and/or earthquake would have been “risk managed” and imho a strategy should have been put together. In this plan an alternative venue must have been debated.
Be under no illusion, cancelling the Japan v Scotland game favours Japan as there was a chance if Scotland had won by a big enough margin Japan would have been out.
If the game is cancelled, Scotland have been harshly and appallingly treated, WR have tarnished the tournament, the sort of decision FIFA under Blatter would have come up with. Shocking.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Watching the Ireland game and there has been a Samoan yellow card and an Irish red card for high tackles; both absolutely spot on from the officials. What frustrates me now is the commentary of Kay and Quinlan constantly saying everything is a yellow or red now. Quinlan particularly biased to try and even up the numbers

See the Tounament rules. If Scotland had beaten Ireland, they wouldn't be moaning and they certainly wouldn't be standing up for any other country affected.
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
Am I the only one finding some of these meaningless, one-sided pool games to be virtually unwatchable? There really has been a load of dross served up over the past three weeks.
