He’s just been subbed, I reckon that’s his last game for Scotland.

It doesn’t make sense that Scotland start him, he doesn’t fit their fast running game plan one bit.

Well played Japan, a popular result if you’re not Scottish. I really hope we don’t get any ‘gallant losers’ posts.

Great game. Reasonably impressed with Chris Harris...and we get him and our Italians back early. Here's hoping that we don't get Willi back until mid November...

Scotland really put in all they could at the end there. They just gave themselves far too much to do in that second half. But Japan were phenomenal, their defence at the end was incredible. That was the best game of the tournament so far, hugely entertaining and I greatly respect both teams.

Chris Harris looks a very nice addition to the squad. I look forward to seeing him in the C&W.

Indeed. But our RWC boys will need a decent break after the long preparatory period and then the actual competition.
I'd give them a month each after their last game to forget about rugby and come back completely refreshed.

Well played Japan, a deserved victory. Scotland have regressed some what, I felt we had peaked a couple of years ago with this squad. Laidlaw is not quick enough at international level and should focus on club rugby. Vern Cotton wanted to stay on but the SRU were dumb enough to let him go. Not sure Townsend can stay on for much longer
