Rob, is there any reason you can't cut and paste these articles into your posts?

It's fair enough. This is Rob's job. Unless the rest of us are willing to start providing our services free of charge. I think it's great that Rob is providing direct links to Glos articles.

+1 Some people on here are providing too much of their services free of charge. Take a break you pensioners.

Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
I think this comment is very telling (my emboldening): “Some of the venue staff slept at the stadium overnight so they would be able to immediately assess any damage caused by the typhoon. Others turned up that morning despite their houses being destroyed. They just wanted to make it happen and it was another sign of the remarkable commitment to the tournament shown by so many here. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude.”
Re: RWC19 "Stuff"
It’s remarkable that when a country is preparing itself for a certain natural disaster that will almost certainly take lives, another national body is threatening legal action because they didn’t read the rules properly (or at least consider their potential impact).
Talk about being self-focussed.

Having Scottish ancestry, I am deeply embarrassed by the way the SRU has conducted itself. I understand they were disappointed at the potential of going home without playing their final group game but "running to the courts" is not the way to behave when a) the tournament rules were clear from the outset and b) the typhoon was potentially cataclysmic.
I am glad the final game was played and proved to be the best game I have seen in the RWC so far this year. Japan's win was, perhaps, poetic justice. Also, consider the extra mental pressure the Scottish players were under as a result of the naive behaviour by their union.
