I thought both teams played with huge heart and effort and OZ had to try something different to get inside Eng. 4 yrs ago all their secial plays came off. This time only a few did. Eng mde very few errors and were very incisive. Fair result and it shows steady improvement game to game. Lets hope they step up even more next week. There must be a few on here choking on their cornflakes this morning !!!

Only weak link today was Daly....apart from that they looked genuine contenders.

Irish are struggling, looking like the side that lost to Japan.

Agreed. Ire look like a team on the slide and too reliant on one or two key men and plays. NZ have suffocated any Irish drive and they have given them no room. They will be tough for anyone to beat. However they are paying the price for losing to Japan.

Ireland very disappointing. Never thought they would win but seem a pale shadow of their former selves. With hindsight , I think the writing was on the wall with the Wales game in the 6 nations.
