Tom Curry ran a dummy runner line like you see 20 times in ANY match. He didn't run into an opponent - he ran a line between 2 defenders and they decided to commit to the tackle.

I appreciate it looks wrong but it's fine. You will see similar dummy lines many times this afternoon.

Marius Jonker just loves to insert himself into a game.

The Underhill disallowed try I felt was fair but the Youngs one was a bit iffy. Too many hands near the ball to really see whether it went forward

I agree with Steckers. Curry ran a straight line and Whitelock made the decision to tackle him. Should it at worst be a penalty to england for tackling a man without the ball?
The 2nd disallowed try is a terrible decision.
As for the forward passes they weren’t even close. Terrible officiating from everyone, luckily it didn’t cost england their very much deserved victory.
Be interesting to see if Ben Spencer is withdrawn from Sarries team today.

Can't have much else to do..

I'm of the opinion that, had both of these tries been given against Gloucester, I would have been saying some very rude things about the ref and 3rd officials so can't have too many complaints about them being disallowed.

The forward passes however were not even close to 50/50 and should be some of the easier calls for officials to make.

That was my initial opinion when I watched it live; thing is my English buddy I was watching it with reckoned no try.
I strongly disagreed to the extent he wrote down what I said (me being Welsh) and made me sign it.
I expect it will be hanging in his bog by tomorrow.
Woodward has the view it was no try

Critical thing is the question Owens asks the TMO about the intiation of contact

MOM was Itoje for me, but could easily have been curry or Underhill. Maybe after such an outstanding team performance, there should not be a MOM.

Wonder who will get to ref the final, obviously the best ref in WR at the moment (imho), Wayne Barnes, can’t get it and if Wales lose tomorrow, please don’t let it be Owens. I thought all the officials were poor today and their iffy tmo try decisions and missing forward passes kept the AB’s in the game. The plus if SA win is that Marius Joncker will also not be involved.

I think Garces or Poite will get the job, hopefully Poite as Garces is a bit up and down in performance.

Any way very very well played England and good luck Wales.

That’s Brilliant Smirnoff! For me Whitelock initiates the contact. I take your point Sheddy and would be unhappy if AB’s had been given that against England so can cope with it being disallowed. Not happy about the 2nd 1. Taken brilliantly by Ben Youngs.
So that rules Barnes out of the final, so down to Owens, Poite or Garces? My choice would be the young Aussie guy Nic Berry i think his name is.

Nice Berry for me too. He’s grown into the role after a poor start.

Outstanding performance from everyone who took the field. Our power from the whole pack and tuilaigi alongside some incredible off loading especially from the tight 5 made it impossible for them to stop us. As others have said one of the most complete 80 mins of rugby I have seen from England for 16 years! We made the all blacks look very ordinary you cant pay the players a bigger compliment than that
